Warranty policy

Cheng Yuan Steel Co., Ltd.

1. Scope of Warranty

This warranty policy applies to all steel structure products and fabrication services provided by Cheng Yuan Steel Co., Ltd., unless otherwise specified in the commercial contract or technical agreement.

2. Warranty Coverage

Cheng Yuan Steel warrants that its products will be:

• Free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service;

• Manufactured in accordance with the approved technical drawings and specifications;

• Durable and structurally sound for the warranty period as specified below.

3. Warranty Period

• The standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of delivery or 6 months from the date of installation, whichever comes first.

• Extended warranty may be available upon agreement in the contract.

4. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by improper handling, transportation, storage, or installation by the customer or third parties;

• Damage due to natural disasters, fire, or force majeure;

• Modifications, repairs, or alterations not authorized by Cheng Yuan Steel;

• Normal wear and tear or corrosion in environments not suitable for the materials used (unless protective measures were agreed upon in advance).

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must:

• Notify Cheng Yuan Steel in writing within 7 working days of discovering the issue;

• Provide supporting evidence such as photos, videos, and relevant documentation;

• Cooperate with Cheng Yuan Steel for on-site inspection or technical assessment, if required.

6. Remedies

If the product is found to be defective under the warranty terms, Cheng Yuan Steel will, at its discretion:

• Repair the defective part;

• Replace the defective product or component;

• Offer compensation or credit as mutually agreed.
